SMPK-SMAK PLUS PENABUR Cirebon celebrated Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day at Lembah Cilengkrang through the “Love for Nature, Care for Indonesia” program, encouraging students to appreciate and protect Indonesia’s natural environment.
As part of the celebration of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, SMPK-SMAK PLUS PENABUR Cirebon organized an environmental activity at Lembah Cilengkrang, Kuningan Regency, carrying the theme “Love for Nature, Care for Indonesia.”
The activity aimed to introduce students to the beauty and richness of Indonesia’s natural environment while encouraging them to develop a greater sense of responsibility and care for nature. Through direct interaction with the environment, students were invited to learn that protecting nature is an important part of contributing to Indonesia’s future.
As part of the program, SMPK-SMAK PLUS PENABUR Cirebon collaborated with Konsumen Insan Lembah Cilengkrang to provide name labels for trees throughout the area. This activity was designed to help students recognize and learn about the various types of trees growing in Lembah Cilengkrang while increasing their awareness of the importance of preserving Indonesia’s biodiversity.
Beyond celebrating independence through traditional ceremonies, this activity provided students with a meaningful way to express their love for Indonesia by caring for its natural environment.
Through “Love for Nature, Care for Indonesia,” SMPK-SMAK PLUS PENABUR Cirebon hopes to inspire students to become a generation that not only achieves academic excellence but also takes an active role in protecting and preserving nature for future generations.
